hydroplane dimensions???
was wondering if anyone knows a source where i can obtain dimensions on full scale hydroplanes for the purpose of scaling down thank you

scale unlimited hydros
boaters already have a class for scaled down unlimited hydros like the Miss Bud and Miss Madison. They are 1/8 scale and run 11cc motors. a Web site is rcunlimiteds.org. There is a guy in Washington state that draws up plans for many of the past and current models. Hydros are harder than they appear and I suggest starting out with a kit (fiberglass is easier for the beginner, but more expensive) kits are next best. I was a good airplane modeler and was surprised to find out how much I needed to learn when I entered boat racing. Another good boat site is rcboats.com. Questions?? e-mail me.
