Engine Upgrade for .16
Hello i'm looking to buy either a "Megatech Wicked Angel" or a "Kyosho Blue Streak 800 GP ARR" and want to put a .21 or .45 glow engine in either one. Will they fit and work ok and will the rest of the parts on either boat stand up to the extra power?
Plz let me know thanx

RE: Engine Upgrade for .16
The hull you are speaking of is plastic or pvc vinyl I think. They are not made to stand the rigors of a good 21 let alone a 45. The drive line is the main issue as well as the motor mount system. I would leave it as is and move on to another hull/engine combo if I wanted more speed because in the end regardless of what you put in it you will still have a plastic boat that will give you many headaches becuase you are asking too much of it.

Listen to Curt. The Wicked Angel can barely handle the motor that it already has and is too weak for anything larger. They already have issues with cracking from the .16 so anything bigger would destroy it in no time! I wouldn't try this with the Kyosho boat either.
