Default electric start

Hi everyone

i have a 12V DC electric starter for my outboard engine made by royal. IT has worked fine with my K&B 3.5CC, starts without a hitch, but now i've bought a K&B 7.5CC engine and it won't budge the thing, so i was wondering if the electric starter isn't strong enough for that or what. ANy suggestions?

Yup, you're going to need a heavy-duty starter. I got tired myself of having to nurse a wimpy starter and bought myself a 12/24 Sullivan. Now I can start anything that I have with no sweat.
