Hi guys

i have built the fram of my boat and now im trying to cover it with 4mm ply but im having trouble covering it, has any 1 got any tips or can some 1 help me with any opther ideas im open to anything,

i was thinking of fulling the frame with xpanding foam and then cutting the boat out of it but keeping the fram in the foam to give it strenth??

please help

Depending on the size of the hull 4mm seems rather thick, unless your hull is over 50" long.

Try the LHS, or a well sorted carpenter, there is plywood, so thin, you can cut it with a pair of scissors.
Or use 1mm balsa strips to cover the frames.

Hi jan

i have been emailing you but it keeps failing,

i have the fram sorted, but i am trying an idea i have had with expanding foam, i need to cut all the excess away now but when thats doen and sanded ill post some pic's, ill also weigh it but with the excess foam with alot to cut off it is pretty low if it dont work ill just build another frame it only took a few days

Sorry for the bouncing mails, it appeared my mailbox at the server was blocked by a few large videos that had returned as undelivered, I wasn't aware of that.
