Default bad boat problem

ok, i went out to drive my kyosho nitro viper and i had some trouble. the little flex joint thing poped out of place. this is a little plastic piece thet holds the 2 driveshafts so they will spin together. its done this before so i tightened it up and put more spacers in it but now it wont stay in place wich it didnt before... anyway then i put it back in place and started it again, i gaveit some gas and noticed that thhe driveshaft would move down, either that or the motor moved up, and almost poped out of place but i let off...this is all within less than 1/4 throttle out of thewater. should i reposotion the engine epoxy the mounts, and reglue the driveshaft holder sleveor what and shold i put some balsa wood over the plastic mount would that help?

thanks for your help
