I used to put a lot of time into painting my boats until I starting getting hit at races. It was too hard to repaint a tricked out paint job.
I'll have to see what I have stowed away in this 'puter.

I dont plan on getting hit. If I do ill be hitting that person and taking whatever he hit me with. I just plan to cruize in the lakes and hope that i DONT hit the shore line!

I was thinking a paint job, like something with a sparkle to it, maybe a deeeeeep purple with make a light purple or silver sprarkle with some kind of fanged skull on the front and it fading down...

As long as you're not going to race it you can paint it any color that you want. I painted my sons boat with some of that chameleon paint and it all but disappeared on the water. It didn't like nitro either so it came off real fast and is now red.
My latest is Ford Zinc Yellow, the brightest that the guy who painted it could find in PPG colors.

Here's one that I built for my wife when she tried her hand at racing. It's an easy paint job to do, this was done with some rattle cans and masking tape.

100 Bucks huh? Thats pretty cheap for that paint job. NICE.. I have a few boats painted with nice paint jobs. They look better on the wall than the water. Ill have to find the pics.

This is a brand new shockwave that I have custom painted myself. 80 hours of painting, airbrushing, wet sanded and polished. All the hardware on the back has been polished. I hope you like it.

This thread is a bit of a blast from the past (4 years old) but fun to look back.

Bill. Welcome to the forum.

Certainly the nicest shockwave I have seen - looks fantastic and a reflection of all those hours.

What do you have under the hood?

It looks like the same old uploader to me. Are you using the "Reply" button up here to get to the advanced screen. ^^ Get usedto the new improved stuff. You can now also upload You Tube videos directly into your replies instead of just a link.

I recently started painting boats for Bonzisports. Shoot me an email and let's talk paint. There is NO paintjob too tough for me and my company to handle, and I absolutely LOVE painting these boats!!
