RE: Electric 1/4 scale crackers
Thanks so much Tidnab, it's nice to see a fellow lover of crackerboxes on the sight, especially since I really do not know much about the hobby....You've definitely helped me out, and that OCC website was great as well. The only issue I have is that the boat I am building is just a 1/10 scale cracker, so it's really a small guy and so that's where the difficulty is coming in terms of what motor and other hardware would fit well in this boat. But again, thanks for all your help so far, and I actually began contstruction on my boat yesterday, I am cutting out the wood pieces, as the boat begins to take shape I will post some pictures on the forum.

RE: Electric 1/4 scale crackers
Yea, I have and was told a 540 or 550 motor would work well with a 6-cell battery pack. However, I am thinking about possibly using a bigger sized battery pack, and also don't know what else to look for in terms of a motor, so I am going to probably make another posy this week as construction on my boat progresses. Again, thanks for the advice and I'll keep you updated on the building.
