Default Do I need a clutch?

hey guys, im making my electric" hydro (700 size) 25" gas. I have a .19 engine here, but do i need a clutch? Where can i get one, and how much? thanks gents. Eric

Didn't know you could buy clutches for such a small engine. I can honestly say that I've never seen one but am very currious.

What are you holding out on us?

unless you have some way of pumping the water when the boat is not moving (clutch not engaged) i would say don't bother. i have a direct drive and a clutched boat now (not run much on the clutch) and both are equally as easy to drive. when i need a small break, i just goto idle and turn to the left or right, then switch the transmitter off. that usually keeps the servo's where i left em and the boat just does circles out in the water
