hi
would smaller props make the boat fast right now i have twin 3 blades at 1/3/4 thinking of going to 1" or 1/1/4 this is a 52" boat thanks maxs

too many variables and too little information to really give you an accurate answer.

Some variables worthy of consideration are How fast is the boat now. What do you have for power. Weight of the boat. What kind of hull. What props are you using.

Read the sticky thread at the top of this forum - there is a TON of info to digest. For example Piper offers this reource: http://www.funrcboats.com/prop_chart1.htm.

Bottomline is props are one of the biggest variables in this hobby. You've got ALOT of reading ahead of you but it is worth it.

Yes, it would be nice to know what boat that you're working with. One inch to 1-3/4" props are very small to be pushing a big 52" hull with.
