Places to run boat in DC area
I'm just about finished with my first R/C boat and would like to find a good place to run it in the Washington DC (suburban Maryland) area.
Does anyone have any suggestions?
Also as a first-timer, are there any tips or laws I should know about before my first launch?
Any help would be much appreciated.

Depending on which area of the burbs you are, there's a couple clubs in your area. IMPBA Dist 12 covers that area and have regular races in a couple places, very good district. There's a state park not far from Sharpsburg, they race there and a couple other places, can't remember them right now. Where are you in relation to N. Va? There's a few guys in Leesburg Va I can hook you up with, they will be great help! and since your a gassr, I'll give you this email LOLOLOLO! [email protected] get hold of him, he can hook you up!
I used to live in Sterling Va, grew up there and back in the day, I would have ran a boat in the reflecting pool! but we all grow up and eventually end up with something to loose, but it is a cool thought! hahaha
