Radio Gear
Hi all, I have 2 sets of radio gear I can use in a boat I'm building:
either: 2ch Futaba AM Receiver & 2ch Futaba Attack Transmitter 40Mhz
or: 6ch Futaba 6EXAP Transmitter & 6ch RandomBrand Micro Receiver
the former is in my RC car and the latter was in my plane which crashed..lol
which do you reckon is better? I was leaning toward the EXAP because it's alot more modern but I'm not sure about the micro receiver

RE: Radio Gear
dejamzo,
Aside from the legality thing (air/surface?), since I have no idea how that works that close to 'Oz', it's more a matter of how many 'channels' will the boat require and which would you rather use. As long as they are setup properly, both should have about the same range, I would guess. As for that 'micro' receiver, the same probably holds true. A range check is never wasted and is a good idea, right?
