Default Lighting control

How are you guys turning your lights on and off via your remote? I have an 8 chan radio I am going to use on my tug and I want to be able to turn a few scale floods on via my remote. I also am adding a window washer pump for the fire hoses. That runs on 12v so I need to isolate it from the receiver. I was thinking about using a servo to trip a switch, but that seams very mechanical, just looking for a few suggestions

I use a series of momentary switches mounted around the servo horn.
I build up a cam shap over the servo horn to give some bulk.

Action Electronics in the UK manfactures a variety of switches.

Or you could build your own.
