Paint question
I have a fiberglassed plwood hull that I used Z-poxy resin on I have tried a couple of enamel paints on but neither one will competely dry. The paint ends up tacky and won't dry. What do I need to use? Thanks for all replys.

Enamel paints aren't the best things to use on a boat, especially if it is a Nitro boat. The fuel will eat it right off. One thing that could have been done was to put a pigment powder in the epoxy to color it. I have tried some Krylon epoxy paint in a spray can from my local Dept. Store and it is holding up well so far. It is used for Appliances like stoves and fridges. They do have an assortment of colors so that it won't be Harvest Gold or Avacado Green. It has a nice gloss to it also and dries quickly.
I have also used Formula-U and Top Flite's Lustercote with good results, some of the other ones suck to put it mildly.
