What is a good 1/5 th scale car/truck to buy. Been searching on the internet and in 1/5 scale, I do not see much variety. I know hpi makes the Baja 5b and 5t but was wondering what else is out there. With my inexperience in the rc car/truck world I would like to here from people with experience in the 1/5th scale before I go and buy a 1/5 scale car/truck.

I currently own a savage x 4.6 (and love it) but would really like a gas powered truck/car off road for my next purchase. Comming from the heli world I dont want the hassle of dealing with lipo's and nitro fuel is costly so I dont want to run 2 nitro's. I know gas powered car has high upfront cost but I think in the long run a gas powered car will be about the same cost as a nitro. And i would have to think you will get a longer life span out of a gas engine then an nitro( I could be wrong just assuming).

you will get more life out of the gasser. ive seen some FG's around, but everyone who had one got rid of it and bought a 5B. DDm has a deal right now you can pick up a 5b with a 2.4 radio and rear dom pipe for less than a grand. HPI has good support too- you wont be dissapointed.
