Default Returning to the rc world after 15 years. Asking for suggestions on a suitable rc.

I haven't been in the rc game for over 15 years and am not familiar with rc's since the original Hornet and RC10. I am asking for suggestions on what would be a good rc for on and off road use. I'm not necessarily interested in hard core racing, just having fun. Let's keep it to $200 and preferably a kit if they are still in the market.

Whatever you buy, don't make it a Kyosho product!
I've had so many problems with my Kyosho cars, boats and planes that I won't touch any product made by them!

You don't have to take my word for it though!

It will be hard to keep it under 200...

For on and off road use, you could go with an HPI Rally. They do both just like the real Rally cars. You will need a motor, radio, batteries, charger, and speed control. The car is $150.

An on road car should never be run off road.

An off road car can be run on road.

You could also look at the Associated T3 RTR. For this you will only need a battery and charger. It is a little under $200.

Hi,
For on-road electric get a TC3, so-many hop ups, spares etc available you can't go wrong. They also do a rally convertion kit for off road use. Try Ebay for secondhand.
