Default AVOID ********!!!

I pre-ordered and paid upfront an FS Racing Monster Truck from the ******** website back at the beginning of November 2010 with the asurance that pre-ordering and paying for the item in advance would guarantee the item would be received in time for Xmas 2010. I even contacted them throughout this waiting period to get updates and every time was assured that my item would be with me before Xmas.
After waiting for a month with constant assurances they send me the wrong item!!
I contacted them again and they were completely unwilling to help me, even when I explained again this was a Xmas present for a young child who would be devastated if they did not receive the item on Xmas morning.
They just said we don't have the item and there is nothing we can do!!

Thanks for nothing ********!! You have left a small child very upset this Xmas!!

My advice to anyone considering buying an item from ******** would be DON'T DO IT!!!!!

Their customer service is non-existent and they have no interest in the customer or order once they have their money!!

This is why you don't buy from companies unheard of, smart one. Before you make a purchase, use your head, and ask the RC enthusiasts. For something for a young kid, a Traxxas 2WD lineup vehicle is perfect.

Guess no more new online hobbyshops will never open, or a new brand start out ever again with that kind of attitude.

nitrotec chinese owned? if so, no wonder you got the wrong item. i feel very bad that that has happened to you and your kid. is there any way you can get money back for proof of return shipment? if so, go to a hobby shop and just pay the premium there.

hobby shops may be a rip, but atleast you are there, face to face, pay with cash, pick up the box and walk out with your purchase. you also keep money in your community.

oh, and anyone can be a badass thousands of miles away, merry Christmas

From my brief search it would appear that this £99 model is out of stock in most UK stores.
Sometimes it is not the fault of the retailer as they can only rely on the information given to them by the wholesaler.

My attitude was probably uncalled for. But I would never trust something that I've never heard of or heard good reviews about. Now don't be so cool about saying I'm a bad ass, Shark. That's uncalled for as well.

sometimes you just pull the trigger, one of those impulse things, really no one should have to do thier homework so they dont get taken, but things change, ethics and morals dissolve its almost like buying from a white van

Why does everyone think that this kind of BS or lack/decline of morals is new???? Recorded history has no lack of moral and ethical lapses and down right evil.
It the 16th century there was a Latin term coined, cavet emptor, which means "let the buyer beware". While the concept does not exactly fit these circumstances it can certainly be viewed as a starting point for a modern day practice of CYA. If you have the intelegence to surf the web and find obscure sellers then you should also have the intellegence to find out if the sight is reputable.

Maybe he can and maybe not. It depends on how he paid, how long it's been since the payment was processed, the rules governing the method of payment and a few other things. Again it comes down to doing a little bit of CYA, knowing the rules, site rep, etc...

But since the OP picked such a combative user name, has only one inflamitory, one sided post and has not logged back on since he posted my guess is that he is trying to flood every rc site he can find with his tale of woe. I serously doubt that he has any interest in our opinions, sympathy or help and is only trying to badmouth this company to try and cover his own shortcomings in the transaction.
