Hey guys, I have an old rc10gt nitro that I would love to convert to a Brushless system. I'm pretty mechanically inclined and after a few google searches I pretty much know what I need to do... My question is, what motor mount would I need, what size brushless engine, and what speed control. Everything from there should be gravy, but I would love to hear what kinda tips you guys could throw my way... Thanks in advance!

call me commander party poop, but I don't think it's worth doing the conversion on that truck
for the cost of the things you'd need, you could almost just buy a purpose built electric
a brushless converted SC10GT will not be as good as a T4

i agree that it might almost be best to just buy a purpose built electric car instead of converting that, but if i were dead set on converting it then id take a look at castle creation's sidewinder 5700kv motor with the mamba max or sidewinder esc, or even a novak havoc system, but if you want more power then get the sidewinder sct.

Yeah I guess it would probably cost more than its worth... I figured maybe I could score something cheap from hobbyking but even that money would probably be best served towards something new... Thanks for the info anyway...
