so i've researched a lot and written a few forums and found at that for a beginner, the HPI sprint 2 is a great drift car. but i just found this one and would like to know which would be better overall

look for a belt driven car.
then you have the option of setting up the rear to "over drive" the front by having a higher gearing. this will give you TRUE counter steering.
type in RC counter steer on youtube and check out what some guys have done with this kinda setup.

I'd say go with a Tamiya, I drift a TA05 which is a good chassis and easily converted to CS for more realistic drifting. What are you comparing the Sprint 2 to?

I took some super glue and some 2 inch abs pipe from the local lumber yard (ask for scrap pieces.. or pieces that they cant sell. Make sure to kiss there butt) and cut it down to size with my miter saw (hack saw works to). I mounted them on some stock rims and BAM! Free drift tires.. Or tires that are 4 dollars + rims.... I go to work with my tt-01..

alright. im looking for one definately under 200.like 170-180. so if someone could find a sprint2, tamiya ta-05 or tt-01. ill look but if i could get some help finding one that'd be great
