I'm having trouble finding some ugly touring car wheels for my Ford contour. I need either 1.9 or 1.5 wheels. Does anyone have any suggestions?

just go to ebay and type in something simple like 'rc drift wheels' there are bound to be a company making some wheels that they think look good but actually look pretty pants...<div>something like this maybe, some BBS alloy wheels but with a quick coat of matt grey could look like some cheap alloys form a 90's sedan </div><div>http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/RC-Car-1-10-Ro...#ht_1215wt_909</div><div>it might work out quite well but you would have to find some on american Ebay :P</div>

You could try your hand at modifying some of the bland dish wheels. Get a pair in white, spray them dull silver, then try cutting the necessary spokes.
Though I must say the Toureg wheels don't befit a Contour. Haha
On a somewhat related note where the hell did you find a Ford Contour shell?

Thanks! I tried modifying some wheels, but it didn't work out. The body is part of a kit sold in the early 90's by Tamiya. They call it the Mondeo, which is the British version of the Contour.

I can't fathom why the Mondeo failed here for any other reason except a market where it had no reasonable place in. They're good little cars but there just wasn't room in the Ford lineup for them here.
I believe the Mondeo unibody returned in the Fusion though. I'm fairly certain the Fusion has some Mondeo parts in it, and they have an eerily similar silhouette.
