Default Tower Pro Servos

...Are they any good?

Both my stock servos have shredded teeth and are now in the bin, been looking at hitec servos, for &pound;25, but these Tower Pro servos keep popping up on google, metal gears, good strength etc but for &pound;6-&pound;8, why are they so cheap?</p>

well they are ok for a back-up throttle servo but not for anything else, i actually bought a hitec 645mg - £25 a few weeks back for the steering in my savage and its a great piece of kit for that much. all in all dont waste your money on one unless you want a strong geared but slow and non-torquey servo

Cheers mate, the thing is though, the specs on them actually look better than the hi tec specs. Torque, speed etc.
Are they better than the stock hobao servos? surely gotta be? those things lasted 3 proper run outs
