im new to nitro cars. and i have a slight problem. when the car gets stuck in mud. and i apply full thottle the car cuts out.
when the car is running it runs good just when it gets stuck it cuts out. or like if its get stuck on a wall and u apply it it will cut out also. is this normal?
Thanks Nathan<br type="_moz" />

Hi and welcome Nathan,
Ok mate, there's a few things we need to know before we can possibly try to address your situation.
First and foremost, do you have any pictures? Nice, clear and close ups work great.
2nd, what sort of vehicle are we talking about here? Rock Crawler? Nitro? Electric? Buggy? Truggy? Short Course? Monster Truck? etc.....?
What is the make and model of your vehicle?
Try to give us as much information as possible and I'm sure more people will be able to respond with possitive answers.
Good luck mate.

It sounds like either a tuning issue or a heat issue. Since you're mudding, a heat issue is most likely.
When it stalls, how much mud has caked itself into the cooling fins on the engine?
While it's never safe to assume, one can deduce that, because he's A: in the mud, and B: Complains that it cuts out when he applies full throttle in the mud, that he has a nitro monster truck, stadium truck or buggy of some sort. Most likely a monster truck.

hey and thanks for your replys
its a cheap thing to get to use to it all. acme NB16 Buggy nitro.
i dont have a camera to take a picture as my son kindly broke it.
low and idle are set to factory the only one i have tweaked is the high end. "user guide said not to touch the other to"
You say caked it does not get to that stage. as soon as it gets stuck and i try and throttle it "cuts out" i had it up agents my foot and done it very slowly got the thottle not even half before it cut out. when i run it and it doesnt hit anything or get stuck it will run like a dream but going ova muddy patches or holes is a real problem witch i thought woudnt be. i will try and get my camcorder out tomorrow and see if i can get a video to show you but im sure this is not normal. but could be wrong like i said this is my first nitro buggy and learning and tweaking is part of the hobby just advice on this situaction would be good.
Thanks Nathan<br type="_moz" />

It's definitely not normal. None of mine do it.
The only time I've ever had mine cut out was either A: when they were mistuned, or B: mud had the air filter so badly clogged it wouldn't stay running.
Clean the outside of the engine, clean and re-oil the air filter, set the carb to defaults, then tune as per this video:
