well having had a rc10gt myself at one time i can bet that it is the differential and it needs to be tightened but check that last. Check your spur gear it may be stripped or have a flat spot. Is you clutch bell spinning and moving the spur?? your clutch could be gone if it is not engaging the clutch bell. Also check to see if the slipper is tight engouh.....but like i said if these are not it your diff need to be either tightened or rebuilt i had that problem alot with my GT until i just sold it kause it was ticking me off too much

yeah the slipper is the assebly that goes over the spur gear. like nitro man said try tightening that if that doesn't work then it is your diff or possibly a stripped gear in the tranny. if it is the diff take of the turn buckle on the engine side of the truck and inside the hole where the axel went in there is a small allen screw (it is rly hard to see and rly easy to strip the head) hold the opposite wheel and turn that screw to the right untill it is pretty tight then back it off about 1/8th of a turn. then go run the truck if it is still doing the same thing open up your trans and let us know what you find

yes by tightening the nut in front of the spring you compress the rubber ring making it harder for it too slip. To tighten the diff you take out one dogbones and rubber o rings from the outdrive. either the left or the right ourdrive has a bolt that you can tighten with a hex wrench.

ok i figure it will be the diff the GT seems to have that prob a whole lot and it has to be tightened every so often...also if you are bashing with this truck i would highly recomend upgrading to the RRP hardend steel diff with the MIP rebuild kit and carbide diff balls as i actually had my diff gear completly melt on me. also a diff rebuild is a rly good idea every 2 gal. or so just to keep it fresh and running like it should

well, I feel stupid :stupid: I tightened the diff. after I realized that it was doing this because teh wheel/rim was stripped in the back so The axle was just spinning. I put a new wheel on and everything was cool. Thanks for the help guys, and I tightened the diff. just in case. Thanks again
