hey all When I have a throttle return spring attached my throttle gets stuck in idle. My servo just bends the carb arm instead of opening it up like its suppose to do. I really dont want to run without a spring. do I need to reposition the carb arm or something??

do you have the stock motor in the RC10GT? do you have the spring.... located on the throttle arm, then to the back screw on the engine mount?? i know associated makes a few different springs... maybe you got one that the tension is just a little to big on.... but if you have it setup like i have above.... i have never seen the throttle arm bend.. but lets us know.. so we can help you out.

To me, it sounds like the spring you are using is too strong. Rotary carb and slide carb TRS setups are different also. TRS on slide carb attaches to the carb linkage while on rotary, it attached to the servo arm. I would try adjusting the TRS to soften the preload first.
