Are there any engines besides Traxxas that have an electric start?

Basically just Losi and Traxxas in regards to RTR models. You can use the Traxxas EX-Start with several aftermarket engines though, including a few Novarossi engines, OS, and Dynamite.

I have a VERY bad back. The EZ start really helps me. I don't like it for the ''cool'' factor. I need one. Can you tell me which engines for sure that it will work on? Something equivalent to the 2.5r will work.

Personally, I don't mind the Ez-Starts at all... a hell of a lot easier than yanking on the thing, but they do get pretty irritating if you do not treat them with respect and keep them clean. Then again, I prefer an driving an automatic.

Pop the car on a chest-high workbench/car hood/whatever while starting. Problem solved. Only muscles you need are the ones that pull your wrist up when you're set up that way.
Hell, I do that and I don't have a bad back.

maybe for op, the less he has to pick up the car off the ground, the better. one must PUT the rc on the platform to restart.... i'm in a similar sitiation and own 2 traxxas nitros and one ten-t because of this.
