Hi,
A while back I had problems with my stock engine for my Losi Aftershock, so I bought a new engine. The engine I bought was the Toki .27 CXP, I began to have troubles with it after improperly breaking it in I believe, and took it to get worked on. The person told me that there was no compression in the engine. I was wondering where, if possible, I could buy parts for these engines, or if there is a different sleeve and piston I could use to fix this.
Thanks

Toki .27....I've never heard of that brand and that's a pretty oddball displacement. I think your best bet is to scrap it and buy a new engine from a reputable brand, such as Losi, OS, HPI, and then break it in and tune it properly. As for obtaining a piston and sleeve for your existing engine your best bet would be to try to find Toki's website, but that's no guarantee they'll offer parts. The place you bought it should stock them as well, provided they're reputable and the parts are still in production.

Well they seem to be made in Japan. Hobbypartz.com and nitrorcx.com seem to sell them for just 49.99. Hmmmm, imo you get what you pay for. As previously mentioned get a decent engine from one of the companies mentioned above. You will be much better off.
