I just got the upgrade Kyosho HG Air Filter, and the instructions say to use the green air filter oil. I was wondering whats the difference and why would I use green, when I already have the blue oil? Anyone have insights into this?

Different foam densities require different oil viscosities . The green is thinner, blue a bit thicker, and red is the thickest. It shouldn't really matter what you use though.

I never knew it made a difference. I use blue on both my nitros as well as my Baja and have never had any issues. The Savage and the Baja both have upgraded air filters too.

Don't get sucked into marketing hype. Many times cheaper and as good or better. Motorcycle foam oil is the ticket.

I'm temporarily assigned to korea and have limited access to motorcycle stuff. The blue oil is plentiful for now though, I'll stick to that then.
