Default problems with Integy support

I recently bought an Integy aluminum chassis for my slash, When I received it i found it to be a very soft metal.
After building the truck I took it out and ran it a little, Nothing hard, never even got it off the ground. when I came back in I noticed the front looked funny after close examination I noticed the chassis had bent in front of the servo I used one finger and straitened it out.
seemed like this thing bent just by looking at it. i contacted their customer report and they said I would receive a reply in 72 hrs or less, it took them one day short of 3 weeks to reply and tell me I could have a discount on my next purchase. when I checked the discount it was around 4% if under a hundred bucks and around 10 on higher priced stuff. my question is why would I want to spend more on parts that bend by looking at them I sent them a reply and asked if I just had to eat the 100.00 I spent on the chassis that was almost 3 weeks ago so reply should be here soon.
Just a warning guys seems like this company doesnt care a bit for their customers I have a ton of Integy parts on this thing but I will never buy another thing from these guys I might as well take my money to the local track and hand it to some kid at least I might get a thank you from the kid.

Unfortunatly this is the case with most integy parts. They're either soft or brittle and support is non-existent. I wish you the best of luck but I seriously doubt you will get anywhere. Put the factory chassis back under it and try to sell the integy to someone building a shelf queen.

thats it right there.
Integy is for building a shelf queen without spending alot.

About the only integy part I use is heat sinks.

Best one I saw was a guy at the LHS with his savage, and 5 destroyed integy shocks. I mean they were broken in all different ways, 2 the rod was bent, one the shock body bend, one it split, and last the cap blew off. Clerk at the LHS was like uhhhh how low was the jump. Guy said it hit like 3 feet in the air, and the clerk was like WOW You only broke 5 shocks from that jump? Then told him integy was a synonym for crap. Guy said Why do you have a truck on the shelf all decked out in integy. Clerk told him cause it looks pretty, and thats all I would recommend it for.

Only part I have from them that actually does something is their HD rear carriers on a savage. Only reason I got them was a lot of people said they actually worked, unlike the original carriers they sold for the savage which broke if you looked at them.

yep, bite the bullet, put the stock stuff back on and learn your lesson, im sorry, it LOOKS like its tough, but really, its about as resilient as a clump of dried up play-dough.

if im not mistaken Jammin racing products makes a chassis for the slash- and you can bet they are tough parts!

I actually had a pleasant experience with Integy customer support, I'm not a big fan of their products in general but I do have some of their stuff. I bought some bulkheads for my mini like a year ago and one of the threads was messed up, I took a picture of the hole in question which didn't really prove anything and sent off an email, a few days later they replied saying they would send me out a tool to re-thread the hole FOC. I do agree that the reply the OP got for his problem was substandard, personally I would be asking for a full refund.

I'm not saying the OP was rude to them but in cases like this it helps to be nice. You get more flies with honey as they say.

Integy has support? When did this happen?

And Kennykiller, no way dude! We used to live near a bait farm (flies you couldn't believe) and I can assure you that by standing in the middle of the room swinging a rubber baseball bat wildly, I got more flies to meet a more satisfying end than setting out a pot of honey. Moral: Rubber baseball bat>honey at making Integy cough up your parts or money. Probably a damn site more entertaining too, although I would like to see an Integy employee covered in honey too. Perhaps after the beating with the rubber bat?

Yeah it's hard to be nice when you get a crappy response like you did. Just so people know I'm not trying to side with Integy or come to their aid, just posting about my experience with them. I'll more than likely never buy anything Integy again for the aforementioned reasons.
