RE: guess the car game
I am a nitro that was first sold in the early 90's My predecessor was first sold in '84 and updated versions (nitro and electric) of myself are still being sold today. Even as a nitro I am still fairly popular and have tons of aftermarket upgrades available. I was also a very succesful racer but my class is all but dead now. Based on sales numbers I am also once of the most succesful RC's ever produced. Who am I?

Yay, deduction paid off there. I wondered if you were an Inferno buggy right up to the point where you said the class is all but dead. Then I thought, RC10. I deliberately didn't specify which rc10 chassis, there have been quite a few.
Give me an hour or so to think of good clues for a tough one.

Since he's busy, I'll go.
I was one of the first 'RC' cars. I used a .19 airplane engine. I was 2wd, my body was fiberglass, and my chassis aluminum. My manufacturer primarily concentrated on electronics (CB radios, home audio, ect.) sold at Radio Shack and other department stores. I am not Tandy. I think I was the only model car my manufacturer ever produced or marketed.
Good luck on this one.

let's give people some time to think, ok? lars went 24 hours without a post, so he was skipped but the last 2 had only an hour or 2 to post before they were skipped. lets have some patience, alright? let's make it a rule, you have 6 hours to respond before you are skipped.

Yay.. I'm writing one now. I'll edit this when I'm done.
I am small, electric, and RTR. My only bodies are of cars that were never sold in America. I am most likely the only car with a wheelbase of 185mm. You probably won't find me in your LHS. I have AWD, unusual for my class. What am I?
