hi guys new to the site not new to rc,s have a axial wraith and a hpi e firestorm but have a guy wanting to trade me a hpi baja and hes not sure on the mods (not sure why) can anyone tell from the pics of anything of interest on it ?? thanxs

Not easy to tell from these not so detailed pictures. Maybe a funny question, but are you sure it is a genuine HPI Baja? Did you bought it new? I see a airfilter that might not be the best, seems a bit asthmatic with maybe not so good filtration as with a foam filter with prefilter on, which can lead to a premature wear on the engine.

The exhaust is looks like the newer hpi exhaust (but who knows lol) ....that thing on the roof also comes on the sc an t models (hpi)but not the stock baja .so who knows about that part ....my king motor came with that guard/handle thing.....the gear cover should say hpi on it ... Did it come with a radio? Check the hpi web site and look at the radio box . The roven/king motor radio box looks a bit differant



Oops I jus reread the post ... All u have are those pics my bad... Well I'd say clone lol ....but that tube of shock oil in that bag is hpi lol

Another way would what motor is in it, the hpi Baja's have a CY

Does it say HPI on the Tyres, Radio box, Body Base of windscreen, Spokes of wheels?
