I have three of them in my garage. They are not a bad buggy, but there are some weak points to be aware of. First and foremost, the bulkheads holding the differentials in place have a tab to prevent the differential housing from rotating. If you are too abusive, this will fail, the differential will rotate, and you will throw a center dogbone. I machined aluminum bulkheads to eliminate this issue. Then again, I was running a picco maxx 21 in my open class oval racer.

just one question,
as the engine that came in the car was junk, what engine mounts did you use to accommodate a new one?
thanks

Because I used a picco maxx engine, I had to machine slots in the chassis to accommodate the t-maxx style engine mount. However, I do believe the optional engine mount for the kyosho dbx buggy will work just fine.
