Default T-maxx slow off start, no climb power

I recently bought a t-maxx 2.5 drove it the first day no problems was pretty darn quick with great acceleration. Put about a quart through it. Today I went back to drive it again started off fine plenty of power and could here the gear change at high speed clearly. By the end of two tanks the truck was slow off the start, had hardly any climbing power compared to the first day. I also couldn't hear a clear shift when pegging the gas and truck couldn't achieve top speed.

Any ideas?

Andrew

Could just need a new plug, Is there a decent trail of blue smoke when you drive by? What are the temps?

I would take apart your clutch and look at it.  Sounds like its slipping.

Traxxas engines have a tendency to vapour lock. The carb gets hot, fuel boils and the engine leans out.Try running the LSN a bit richer.
