Hummm... I learnt a lesson today with ball diffs...
did u know some ball diffs DON'T have a incased bearing on the tension screw... No kidding... I dident
i found out the hard way with a HoBao Hyper 10e... I was refreshing the diffs with new grease and flipping around the thrust washers.... When I noticed all these tiny little balls on my working area??? What are they I thought?
i checked the manual and they were from the tension screw... *sigh...
turns out the thrust bearing on the tension screw is not incased and silly me lost 3 of the balls..
so now I've got to wait for some new balls from the UK.... English balls? I just hope they are as strong as German balls, as Australia has no balls... Can't find them anywhere (1.58mm balls)..
Second to to connecting a battery to the BEC, this is one of my greatest fails...
One thing that dident help... My work area was the kitchen sink..... And because the balls are so small and the same colour, it was really hard to find them.
might invest in one of those magnetic trays... Lol

My first experience with balls was a Tamiya Manta Ray diff in a TL01... It was good at first but it striped the splines on the shaft after a hard session

and my second experience was on my old revo...

I ended up selling them, as funny as they are, they were a little distasteful

For some reason, I felt I had to!
