hello all, after many issues on making a decision i got a kyosho mad force kruiser.
is there any upgrades that i should get for this truck? the mad force line is tough as nails so i dont think much will be necessary but any advice would be nice. im not worried about things breaking from intense abuse because i will mostly be bashing on the street and in grass and dirt is all. no jumping besides a occasional launch maybe a foot or two high. is there anything weak in the drive train i should worry about? maybe a better steering servo? hump pack? i never really modded my cars besides maybe different tires or a pipe so i dont really know what to and what not to get.
any reply will be highly appreciated and thanks in advance.

Lots of threads on the mad force of you google it.
But like any monster truck get some spare body mounting posts, steering knuckles and tierods, front suspension arms, and a couple dogbones and cups, and a few spurs and slipper pads
Those are the first things that you are most likely to break.
Oh and I will recommend no aluminum. Especially on a basher. Just get the plain stock parts or maybe rpm makes some parts fpr your truck.

the reason i posted on here is i couldnt find anything useful on google, and i do know from research not to use aluminum. aluminum bends... plastic flexes right? anyways the way the 3 speed is on this mt is very unique. there is 3 cb's and 3 spurs meshed up together. as far as i know there isnt even a slipper clutch. the gears are chain driven down to the center diff below the chassis. does a exhaust deflector change performance since its an extension on the pipe?

RPM does not make any parts specifically for this truck. I would recommend the Thunder Tech Racing on the axle steering setup. $30 well spent. The stock steering linkage is awful complicated. Get a spare set of axle tubes and Loctite all the metal to metal screws. I put in traxxas large flat 3mm screws on the end of the top shock mounts because they came off the ball ends a few times.
Oh and get more flow plugs and fuel!!!!!

thanks for the reply guys, and i know to get glow plus and fuel
thats kind of a given. lol, is there any issues with the ke25 i should be aware of? the gx21 in the original mad force (i used to have one but stupidly sold it which is why i got a new one) had problems with the inside bearing exploding. happened 2 times with the one i had... and i wasnt the only one. it made me some what scared to have another kyosho engine. does anyone have experience with this engine? what plugs should i get for it?

thanks bean-a-reano, ill consider getting the tech racing setup and trx screws. a hump pack seems to be a must as well. i havent broken it in yet do to this buffalo ny weather so i dont know if a servo upgrade is necessary yet.
