ESC Question
Can anyone recommend a brushless sensored system. I am running a stock TC4 non competitive just messing around in parking lots trying to learn to control my car. Right now I have HobbyWing X3A 1:10 Sensored Brushless RC Combo w/ XERUN 5.5T 3650-6000KV Sensored Motor & 120A ESC. This is a little to fast for me to control my car
. So I am looking for some advice on what to get my budget 100 – 150. Is the any ESC that have different modes likes a cruising, sport, racing modes where you can increase to decrease power?
Thanks for any help,
Alex

any perticular reason for sensored? sensorless is plenty smooth and most options in that price range are sensorless. here is one that should work well http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...?&I=LXCACK&P=0 or you could save a few bucks and stick to sensored by using your current esc with this motor http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...?&I=LXDFDJ&P=0

I guess I really don't care if sensored....I looked at the one associated system looks pretty good....but tower does not have it in stock and I have gift card there so want to buy from tower. I looked at some of these what do you think?

of those 3, i'd go for either the novak or the 4600 castle. if you can push your budget to $250 (yes, i am a bad influence) i'd go for this http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...?&I=LXDHPD&P=K it's fast enough that you will still have fun but slow enough that you can control it a bit better, when you are ready, just put your old system back in and then you have a decent system that'll work in a stadium truck, buggy or SCT if you ever decide to get one.

Future reference, the Hobby wing XeRun stuff is very good stuff, they manufacture Orion and They are one of the best ESC's and motors you can buy.
Support your hobbyshop when you can- unless its hobby town...

Why not just lower the gearing and set the punch to the lowest it goes..... But I guess its to late
even things like adjusting the dual rate and expo would of done the same job....

your gearing sounds good, if your motor insnt getting too hot your golden, if your over-geared you will overheat, but you can actually overheat if your under-geared because your topped out all the time.
