That Typhon is actually one of two 1:8 scale buggies, and it is one of three vehicles that I narrowed my wish list down to. I should just go ahead and place the order... but it's out of stock and can't use the $70 coupon code on out of stock items... oh well. I'll try to be patient, and hold my drool to a minimum as you tell me how much you are liking you new ride.
You are going to tell the RCU community here that your ARRMA buggy is great, right? I couldn't take a big let down.

Let me guess...you want info on batteries and chargers to possibly get?
First we have to know how many cells you plan to use i.e. 2S, 3S, 4S, or 6S LiPo battery and how fast you wanted to charge them.

Well, I don't actually have it yet.. it's still on its way from cali.. and by the way rustyus, u can use that 70$ dollar coupon even though it's not in stock.. they did it for me. But a good charger for a low price is what I need. Lol I guess I'm gonna get the 6s hut don't know if I should get the 25c or 50c is there a night and day difference? Cuz the price certainly is..

You might get by with 25c pack on a buggy. I know my truggy did NOT like LiPo packs with lower discharge rates. I had to use 4S packs with 40C continuous discharge rates to keep from over exerting them. My 25C packs were getting almost too hot to touch, and excessive "puffing" was splitting the cases open.

I'm just throwing this info out there in case you were concerned about how much time there would be between runs with using only one pack.

Welcome to the forum! To be honest, I think you would be best starting off with a single 3S battery until you learn throttle control. Being new and having 6S of power will cause you to have to buy so many parts until you get used to driving. I suggest a 3S, so you can add another when you are ready later and have a 6S buggy once you learn throttle control.

Check out this guy's thread and vids. He said his Talion was PLENTY fast on two 2S packs (4S) and based on his vids, I believe it. 4S would have you doing a good 40mph+.

The one thing you might want to put some though into if you new to the hobby is the power you wanting to put in your car . your new and your driving skill may be a little weak and there nothing wrong with that we were all new at one time. all i can say is a 70 mph car can do some damage if you hit something or worse someone it will easily brake there leg. so what every you do be careful where you run and who is around
