So guys, I got a HPI Sprint 2 Sport for christmas, its second hand but everything on the car is stock, I'm having an issue where the car will sync the ESC with the Radio and will pull away as normal, however as soon as i let go of the accelerator the motor cuts out and will not run again, the strange thing is that the ESC and radio link is still there as i can turn the wheels and the servo will still work as normal, any help guys? thanks in advance

ESC sounds burnt up? Try recalibrating your ESC and receiver first. If you look up the ESC's instruction manual, it should tell you how.

Does this behavior happen when you turn off the ESC and turn it back on again?

when i turn the ESC off and back on the problem repeats... i have tried resetting the ESC but that hasn't worked
