What have you done to your RC today?

Currently, I'm having to put my backup backup plan into action; using a 1/4" chuckable 1.5mm driver from 4-in-1 set.
I've never used my super low budget 1.5mm hex driver that came in a four piece set. I've counted on my Integy 1.5mm driver for years to do the job. Well, the Integy driver's tip has given up on me during maintenance on a motor last year. I replaced that tip with one from the super low budget set. That tip was machined a hair too big, or the hard coating added girth, and will not fit into screw heads .
One of these days I'll just give in and buy the "holy grail" MIP drivers that everyone raves about. For now, I'm happy with $3~$4 replacement tips like Integy, EDS, and Dynamite.

put in some work today.
"wheely box" now has deans plugs and a fully mounted body. so it's ready to rip.
SC10 now has a Castle Sidewinder SV3 in it. and holy hell did it wake up! no more sluggish bottom end. it's flat out punchy!
soldered battery plugs on the other 2 Sidewinders i purchased as well. then realized i was out of wire and male bullet connectors.
installed a receiver in the OG RC10 project. but lacking wire i can't install the ESC or motor so...

My Feedback: (4)
SC10GT: Rebuilt the diff again, installed a digital steering servo, re-installed the gyro.
RC10B4.2: It's strewn across my room in many many pieces right now. :\
FGX Evo: Built, but is just a roller. Currently has the B4.2's steering servo in it.
Mad Crusher GP: Still just sitting here ready to go but not actually being run.
CA-10: Still ready to run, but needs hitch repair.
Nitro Spear: Airframe is built, layer of Rustoleum paint is on it to seal the foamboard, and I have a 4cc fuel tank shoved into it! Waiting on the engines to percolate through customs and make their way down here from Canada...

OG RC10 with graphite chassis is now a runner! finished it up this morning, took it for a short run. it does need tires. and is a little boggy from low speed/dead stop (im thinking it's cause it's a sensorless system) but overall i think it's fine.
currently working on the RC10L. for some reason my soldering station got weird on me so im giving it a lunch break (ok, im giving my self a lunch break) hopefully ill be ripping it by the end of the day. (steering servo pending)

well the RC10L is now a runner.
and my soldering station took a dump. idk if it's just the iron or the unit itself (im thinking just the iron) but yeah, just bought 3 spare tips for the damn thing to. FML
damn iron is going to run me $50. hoping i can buy direct from Hakko and save a few bucks. (iv got a trakpower tk950 which is a rebranded Hakko unit)
F'ing pissed about this. that damn station is less than 2 years old and only has about 8 hours of use on it

Cramming 1/8 scale speed control into 1/10 scale chassis.
Took dog to vet.
Went to chiropractor.
Got Shamrock Shake.
Head hurts trying to figure out best way to mount receiver, ESC on/off switch, and route all the wires (somewhat) neatly.
Taking nap after typing this.
Hopefully I'll have an up and running RC (minus the body) by nightfall.

Ordered the parts I needed to make another crawler/scaler
Parts Ordered
Most of the parts to make a Wheely King axle(I already had a full axle, and some other parts was cheaper then buying a whole axle...)
a set of scx10 rails
Traxxas ball ends
Going to have to pick up some tubing, and threaded rod in the next few days as well as something to use as a driveshaft.

a little 1/18 scale action today.
ran the AE Apex Mini. got a reminder that it is a fun car. still just royally pissed that it was discontinued
ran the Dromida MT 4.18.
attempted to run the Dromida DB 4.18. damn battery connector is jacked up so no dice.
then attempted to run the (still brushed) Dromida MT 4.18 and the nimh packs don't seem to have enough power to make the truck work. which lead to some trouble shooting and different parts trying. then found out that a lipo makes it work and but the stock 2in1 ESC/receiver thing isn't mint for lipo and i remember stories about lipo burning them out so iv got another nimh pack on the charger, hoping i can get a run in before the days over.

bought some threaded rod, and tubes to make links when my axial chassis rails, and the ball ends I ordered come in.
Also knocked more parts off on my 3d printer, and currently am making some as I type this.
God has 3d printers made this easy I remember when I was crafting parts by hand with a dremel, or buying 15 diff parts to try and make things fit

drove the SC10 a little bit.
drove the RC10T a little bit and fixed it's wheel alignment and drove it a little bit more.
drove the RC10T3 a little bit.
and now im messing with the SC10's suspension. upping shock oil to 35w all the way around. as well as going down to a #2 piston in the rear. and thinking of trying silver springs in the rear as well...
im tired of it wallowing all over the damn place. time to make the handing at least somewhat predictable.
edit:
had to fix a broken drive pin. finished the shocks, tried the silver springs idk... it works pretty good on flat ground, but jumps like ass. all it wants to do is go nose up and blow over backwards. idk, i tried shifting the battery forward, but it didn't have any real noticeable effect. not sure if adding weight to the nose is a good idea, or if i should just continue to mess with suspension settings...

Got a Traxxas Slayer Pro for $200. Blown engine, mint chassis. One P/S set and one Davis diesel rod later?

dammit, you could have warned me that was a traxxas video. i don't click on those. i wouldn't piss on a traxxas to put out a fire.
in other news. i ran the "wheely box" last week. that thing runs forever on a lipo. also found out it jumps pretty good to. i was kinda shocked at that one
