Default Traxxas Brushless Rustlers programming?

I have 2 brushless rustlers and both are blinking red twice, a pause, red twice. I've gone through the instructions and I cannot figure it out. Can you guys please let me know what I need to do?

I appreciate the help, Allen

What batteries are you using?

Are you putting a fully charged battery pack in the Rustler?

My initial thoughts are you're using NiMh batteries with the ESC's low voltage cutoff (LVC) turned on.

Rusty, I'm using a fully charged 2s lipo. I down loaded the instructions. I can successfully move from the NiMh mode to the lipo mode. I have both cars in the lipo mode. I'm going to take them to my hobby shop tomorrow. I will give you an update of what they find. I'm trying to prepare the cars for a trip to see family over New Years weekend.

Merry Christmas, Allen

Sounds like it's asking to have its throttle calibration done. Look up the instructions for that.

Rob, I believe your correct. I'm going to work on that tomorrow at the hobby shop. I tried that but without success.

I found the answer to my programming challenges. The switch was stuck. I pulled the esc, took the 4 screws out and split the case open on the esc. I took a small screw driver, pushed the blue button out, cleaned it and reassembled it. Good as new. I never would have descovered this with out the diagnosis from the hobby store in Modesto Ca.

Thanks for the help, Allen

Cool, glad you found the problem. So the Reset button on the ESC was stuck? That would have been pretty tough to diagnose remotely. Glad you got some knowledgeable eyes on it. Have fun!
