Default Vaterra v 100 help

The issue is, car turns immediately to the right once turned on. There is very little turning radius. Centering the steering is not the issue as the Servo is maxed out all the way to the right. I swapped the steering and throttle at the receiver but the issue remains. Does anyone know what it can be causing this issue. I have tried a different servo and yet it does the same thing.

So, no matter which channel you have the servo plugged into, on the receiver, your servo will max itself out in one direction. What is the ESC doing during all this weirdness? Is the ESC finding neutral, and you are able to control the ESC with the transmitter's wheel/trigger?

Yes when everything is hooked properly. Throttle works perfect. I re centered the steering but like said the servo is maxes out to the right so I can't turn right at all, and it will barely turn left.

Did you take the spline off of the servo, let the servo center, and put it back on?

Yes it is certainly not the servo as I replaced it with new one and it as well will max out to the right.

I am assuming you have the transmitter's dual/steering rate turn up to 100%. Right?

This is just too weird to have two servos do the exact same thing, but your ESC is able to find neutral on both channel one, and channel two. If your ESC is able to find the neutral signal from your transmitter, then your servos will find their center. Do like collector said. Take off the servo horn/arm (leave it off), and with the transmitter's dual rate turned up to the maximum; steering trim set to neutral, turn on the transmitter, and turn on the ESC/receiver. Where your servo's spline is now at, that is now their center. Reattach the servo horn/arm accordingly.

I've done the mentioned above. The issue is the servo maxed so if I reconnect the horn there is no more I can turn right. And also I have minimal turning radius. I may try a new battery on the esc mine is very old. Possibly a new receiver.

Well now I'm dumbfounded.

I can't wrap my head around your issue anymore .
Please let us know if you get servo(s) to work correctly.

Got it. All it was the battery was to low. That's the only thing done differently and it's working fine now.

LOL. That's gonna be my remedy for everything now.

How do I adjust the slipper clutch on my SC? Charge the battery.
Why does my car go faster in reverse? Charge the battery.
My transmission has a clicking noise. What would make that noise? Charge the battery.
My front end seems to be pushing a little in the corners. What can I do? Charge the battery.

Seriously though Oleboy, I'm now seeing, what I think is the whole picture. You are using NiMh battery packs, and your failsafe settings, for the steering, differ than default. I still don't get how the ESC was working if the failsafe kicked in. Meh.

Correct. I'm using a nimh battery. It's very old and I guess wasn't charging properly. I had to continue starting the charge process over again several times. This was the fix and I'm back playing again lol
