get a temp gun. it will be easier to tune your engine with it. exactly how warm is it?

what type of fuel are you running and what percent of nitro? try adjusting the low end just a tic richer too. I have made that mystake myself, not recognizing it cost me a motor one time when I just started out.

One way is to warm the engine up and when it is warm, lean the top end by 1/8 of a turn. The drive it again and you should see a slight improvement in performance. Keep doing this until it doesn't get any better. Then richen it so it is just before this 'perfect' setting and this is right for running. You can take it to it's best, but this is usually too lean. Remenber no to worry about the low-end at this stage.

went and got a temp gun from LHS Ok if this makes any since the motor was running at about 150 so I leaned it out alot and it runs alot better nice stream of smoke temp is around 240 now constant. drinks less gas now too. I guess it was running so rich it was loading up at idle making it cut off. Ran like 6 tanks of gas with no problems.
Thanks for all the help and tips.
