Default HELP. lost power to receiver with vxl esc

I have a granite 4wd with a Traxxas vxl3s combo that I'm running on 2s I drove through a small puddle and seconds later stopped getting any kind of response with throttle or steering input. Everything looked dry, the receiver box was bone dry when I opened it but it isn't getting any power (no light). I have 3 receivers and none of them get power from this ESC anymore
But when I hook them up to my other ESC, or put the other ESC in the granite everything works as it should. It's the internal B.E.C right?

It sounds like you solved your own issue. That VXL3S somehow died when it came in contact with water even though they're sealed.

If your ESC still powers up, but receiver is not getting anything, then I'd say you're correct with the assumption that the BEC is fried. I have already made a 6v battery pack to power a receiver to rule out that my ESC was totally shot. I continued using that crippled ESC (BEC no good) with a Castel Creation BEC wired up.
