Is there any way you can take a pullstart off an engine and cover up where it used to be??

Yes, you buy the backplate for the engine from the manufacturer.

if it's for that rs4 rtr3 nitro star engine, I wouldn't bother, the engine will only last a couple gallons of fuel, then you can buy a decent engine
