Default force is made by.......

i found the manufacturer of force engines. it is a company called gm. thay make ops, but thay have been discontinued. go to http://www.shop.graupner.de/webapp/c...&show_cat=5667 then gas engines. then ops / gm. then ops / gm again. the top one is identical to my old force 12. i cant find a website for them yet. i will keep looking though.

NO I believe that Force would manufacture the engine for OPS/GM to put thier badge on !

....Just like Force making engines for HPI, XTM and a few others, I have also heard that Force and Ho-bao(Hyper 8 port) etc are closely entiwned... Force is a sub agent for Ho-bao or somthing like that. SH engines is also related to the bunch too !

I could be wrong, here, but Im pretty sure force models inc. is the company that manufactures engines for all these other companies. I have a force.21 and a force.25 that I run in my XTM X-terminator. when I buy parts here (Korea) they come in a package labeled "Force Models Co. ltd." NOT "Ofna" I know that this company makes engines for a variety of distributors, who them put their name on the product. If you look at the HPI .21BB and the Ofna Force .21 you will see that the engines are virtually identical. My "Ofna" Force .25 has the "FC" logo cast into the engine case, not the "Ofna" logo.

Yeah Ofna is the US distributor for a variety of asian manufactures, I know for sure that Ofna manufactures nothing...they just rebadge and re-distribute. I have never seen Ofna stuff in Australia...we get the cars and parts directly from Ho-bao, Hong-nor, SingHor, Force, GV models, CY, etc etc

Exactly! Even my XTM X-Terminator is sold under a different name (Rex-X) in countries outside of the U.S. My force .25 is made by Force Models, and sold as an "Ofna" most of "Ofna's" cars are made by Hobao or Hong Nor. Very few companies actually MANUFACTURE r/c cars and parts, but those parts are DISTRIBUTED by a variety of companies and sold under a variety of names. I havent looked closely yet, but I even believe that the Duratrax Torq .21 is made by Force as well.

For the price... Forc engines are good quality, altho they aren`t super powerful compared to a Novarossi or RB or somthing. If you only have that much to spend go ahead it will be a reliable mill.

Capablanca - I think the OS CVX is probally a better mill.... they would put out roughly the same power...but the OS would maybe come out in front.. the OS will last a bit longer too and is of a higher quality build !

Nightmare - Still in the editing stages, should have somthing to post in a few days.. [link=http://members.iinet.net.au/~zrinski/HalfTankStoush.avi]This[/link] is the last vid I made of my Savage ripping it up

Hi TM, rclooney and all,

I think .12 is not enough for my car, somebody suggested that I should get a more prowerful mill.......I'm thinking of getting the Traxxas TRX Pro .15 or
the TRX 2.5.......

Anybody has any idea regarding the performance and durability of these engines?

how does is compare to Force .12 and OS-15CV engines?

Thanks,............

Ive not experience with 15's but Ive read a good 12 will beat a 15.. I have no idea how "good" this has to be and how "bad" the 15's they where talking about..

I have a sirio .12 trp pro, heaps cheap and flies.
