Default engine mounts

i have an HPI rs4 3 SS. the screws that connects the engine mounting stands (that allow air to flow under the engine) have broken off inside the stands. basically, the heads of the screws came off. how do i get the rest of the screw out without having to buy new stands($20-30)?

Go to the hardwarestore and get the right sized "ez-out". I don't know what size fastener you're talking about. If you can't find one small enough, then you can attempt drilling out and re-tapping.

Either way is easy to mess up, especially if you used a gob of lock-tite when they went in.

Try pliers if they can grip.

you should get that drill bit that drills backwards so when its hooks on it will screw it out(dat sounds familiar) i dont know what its called but you could get it at lowels. i seen some sizes that would prolly fit in there

It's called an "ez-out". Hardware stores know what they are.
