hey I was messin around with me brand new fantom .15 engine and took the pull start off to look at it. Its never been ran. Anyways I put it back on and pull it and it dosen't want to recoil all the rope. I've unwound it and all kind of stuff but it still won't wind up all the rope. Any ideas??

Well youre lucky the spring didnt pop out when you took it off. Make sure the tuned pipe isnt putting pressure on the pull start container. If its an internal problem of the pullstart, then i think youre screwed to get a new one.

I JUST FIXED THIS ON MY GT! the same thing happened and the rope wouldn't return back into the cover. the spring should be wound up inside and in the very middle, the spring should be formed like a semi circle and on the pullstart cover there should be a little circle that the middle circle of the spring goes into and that should make it work. it took me about 5-10 minutes to get it in. i'm sorry if i doesn't make sense, its kinda hard to put in words but if you need me to explain anything, i will.
