Default Modified vs unmodified - how big a difference?

getting a new engine on friday - curious as to whether anyone has experience with modded engines from collari, jp, rody, roem, ect.....

is the power that much more? ALOT more money than stock engines. ill pay the extra dough if its worth it, but im not paying three times the price for just a minimal gain.

anyone have any experience or tips in this field?

yeah - not looking for advertisements here guys. i need this engine by the weekend for a race. i am more interested in someone who has had both a stock and mod engine of the same variety - ie both an RB x12, and an RB Rody.

curious as to the power diff, as well as any dyno charts relating to the torque curve

thanks lynx - but thats gonna be too late. darnnit. 145 for an X12, 185 for a V12, or 345 for a Rody V12. decision decisions

dyno charts are not worth the time!

the motors are to tochey one little change and the chart is all screwd up!
