Type SS Vs EVO
These two HPI cars are very much alike being stock except for the motor i was wondering which engine was better the t15 i think its called in the EVO or the star 12 in the SS what else is different in these cars besides ones a kit and ones RTR

I've been wondering the same thing. I don't think they will make the original HPI RS4 3 SS anymore. I bet they will either discontinu it or put the new engine in it. I only bought the RS$ 3 SS because it was a kit and I didn't want to wait. By the way, what company is the new engine in the Evo?
