RE: Best Fuel?
personal oppinion. i like byron because its a race fuel, available local(ish) and my car just flies. bluethunder (poothunder) is more expencive than byron and ive seen that it is not the best fuel in the world.

RE: Best Fuel?
Ah, but what type of car do u have rclooney? and so what if it says "race fuel" on the bottle, are u suggesting that Trinity isn't a race fuel. Im not surprised that blue thunder has worked well 4 u underglow as it is an oily fuel and therefore any engine should run on it o.k but u may not get the maximum performance but if u just out for a bit of fun it doesn't matter really.

RE: Best Fuel?
i'm currently running powermaster fuel.it works for me.
i have ran rocket science fuel, ran great but its $10 more a gallon than the powermaster.
a friend of my was going over seas for work and he gave me a new gallon of the trinity fuel.IMHO i did not like the stuff for squat,or should i say my motors didn't like the stuff. had to richen the motors up ALOT and still couldn't get the temps the way i like them.
i race 1/8 scale buggy and the motors i 'm running are a rb ws7 and a o.s. rg

RE: Best Fuel?
the race fuel bit is just the fuel contains lower oil for more bangy chemicals to be put in. the blue thunder is ok but the byron stuff is, i feel the same preformance wise, just that bit cheaper.

RE: Best Fuel?
Well byron contains 16% oil and Trinity Monster Horspower contains 12% oil, Trinity Platinum contains 8% oil.
In reply to Froggy RCU I don't understand why u had problems with ur RBSW7II as RB recomend their own fuel which only contains 8% oil. Thoughj I'm not surprised that u had problems with ur O.S Rg engine as O.S engines need to run on a fuel with atleast 18% oil if u want all ur components to last for a lenght of time.

model mania-my motor is a ws7 not ws7ii.the os rg is a lot easier to tune than the rb motor and the problem i had with the trinity was when i had good power both motors temps were probably 30* higher than i like to run them, and i like to run my temps to the edge. my rb runs good coming off the track after a 5 min. race between 260* and 270*.my rg likes between 290* and 300*.those temps are with a rayteck temp gun.
