I'm really considering ordering one of these right now, but I haven't seen many posts on it, and a search didn't bring up a lot of info on it. I'm thinking of this or the TC3. I've seen two problems with the TC3 though, and thats that it requires the "fix", which is about 20 dollars, and that people also recommend ordering a set of screws from rcscrewz to alleviate headaches on putting it together, another 20 dollars. At tower hobbies that brings the total cost of the TC3 to 300. At rc mushroom the G4 pro e-class is 255(anyone know if they would charge taxes in california, or roughly how much shipping would be?) Bad things I've heard on the G4 is the small tank, and that it is a bit on the heavy side. Also, whats the difficulty on putting these together? The only experience I have is with a 1:8 scale buggy from ofna. I found a track thats pretty close to my house, so this would be for both bashing and those weekend races.
Which brings another question, I know the TC3 is shaft driven so it is more bash friendly, but I'm curious as to how much more bash friendly it is, and what kind of problems a belt drive would give me? Thanks.
