Default xxx-nt reverse problem

My truck is running backwards?!?!?! Why would it be running in reverse and what can I do to make it go forward? I just got it used so its not something I just did. Anyone have any ideas?

Try reversing the throttle channel on your radio.

lmao. Reversing the throttle in the radio isnt going to do anything. The throttle only works one way so if you reverse it, it will close the carb instead of open it. My brother had a very strange problem like this with his tripple-xnt but it was only for a few seconds then went away. Also my friend said he had the same problem with his rc10gt. It really makes no sense to me as how this is happening. Because the only cause of this I can see is the motor is turning in the wrong direction. Very very strange problem and I hope someone can come up with an answer for this.

Well I am sorry I didn't notice it was a nitro. I thought it was electric hehe. I have had this happen with my plane engines I guess your engine isn't a pull start then eh. I think it it happens because there is just enough fuel to be burned that is in the crankcase.

That is my opinion thank you.

Sorry solo I kinda jumped out at your for no reason. Guess I was just kinda mad that my car wasnt running. But it is now so its all good. But if it where electric then I do understand what you said about it running in backwards.

Well i found out what it was.... SO WEIRD lol. I did a search for 'reverse' on the forums and kept coming up with "my engine is running backwards" so I just blew those off. well damn my engine really was running backwards lol.. I do use a pullstart too. I guess it just fired when the engine close to TDC and shot the piston back the wrong way lol... I dont know that was, really odd though. Oh well, just one more expierience point under my belt haha... Thanks for the help though
